1. Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing such as yoga pants, tights, tank top, etc. Please do not wear a skirt - it can make it difficult for me , as an instructor to see your movements and could also make stretching troublesome for you.
2. You may want to wear dance slippers otherwise barefoot. Orthodics are fine as long as they are not outdoor shoes.
3. Water bottle - Very important to keep hydrated !
4. A scarf to tie around your hips. This will help you see how your hips move in the mirror. A scarf with coins or something jingly will help you learn hip shimmies quicker.
5. Notebook and pen to take notes (optional).
6. Props: Veil, finger cymbals, cane (only when specified * )
7. Yoga mat for floor stretches (optional) |
